使用于高強度螺母副中,強度等級(熱處理后)為10級,配合10.9級螺栓使用。普通螺栓與高強度螺母的受力性能與計算方法均有所區(qū)別的。高強度螺母的受力是通過在其內(nèi)部施加預拉力P,然后在被連接件之間的接觸面上產(chǎn)生摩擦阻力來承受外荷載的,而普通螺栓則是直接承受外荷載的。

強度螺母連接具有結(jié)構(gòu)簡單、機械性能好、可拆卸、抗疲勞、動荷載下不松動等優(yōu)點，是一種很有前途的連接方式。高強度螺母用專用扳手擰緊，使螺栓產(chǎn)生巨大的可控預緊力。通過螺母和墊板，在連接件上產(chǎn)生相同的預壓力。在預壓力的作用下，沿連接件表面會產(chǎn)生很大的摩擦力。顯然，只要軸向力小于這個摩擦力，構(gòu)件就不會滑動，連接也不會損壞。這就是高強度螺母連接的原理。
